==History==
Syntax joined the community on April 19, 2021, shortly after the [[March Reforms]]. He was first promoted to Moderator on August 10, 2021, in recognition of his contributions to the Hongkongggag Minecraft Server. After a period of semi-inactivity, he resigned as Moderator on April 18, 2022, and later left the server for personal reasons. On December 14, 2023, inspired by a desire to reconnect with his past in Hong Kong, Syntax returned to the server. However, he only became active again in November 2024 during the fallout of the 2024 United States elections. Syntax was promoted to Moderator for a second time on December 1, 2024.

=== Hongkongggag Minecraft Server ===
In the summer of 2021, Syntax proposed the idea of an official Minecraft server, which was later approved by [[Card0]]. The server, managed by Syntax, launched on July 23, 2021. However, shortly after, he permanently left Hong Kong and relocated to the United States. As a result of his move and the challenges of managing the server remotely, it went offline on September 7, 2021.

During the [[History of Hongkongggag#Nyan’s Ban|Nyan Homophobia Incident]], Syntax was closely associated with [[Nyan]] and his e-sports community, Dumb Musketeers. According to Syntax, he was unaware of Nyan’s homophobia and edgy behavior at the time.

Attempting to mediate, Syntax acted as a liaison between Nyan’s community and Card0 but was ultimately unsuccessful in resolving the conflict. Following the revelations about Nyan’s homophobic and otherwise problematic attitudes, Syntax gradually distanced himself from Dumb Musketeers, eventually leaving the community entirely.

The dictatorship in which the server has joked and is heading towards was not to her favor. It was clear that Card0 really liked the praise he got from the people. This can be seen on the day flutters and andi resigned on December 1st 2024. This also can be seen in [[April Fools]] events such as in 2021 (Republic of YUU, Card0 as acting chairman), 2022 (Imperial Federation of Hongkongggag, Card0 acting as "The Supreme Leader") and 2023 (People's Republic of Hongkongggag with Card0 acting as Paramount Leader) in which he is clearly enjoying and following along with these jokes and agreeing and in various contexts evident that Card0 has a preference as a 'dictator' or 'leader' in various contexts.

I have also fell to this regime with [[19371 Cult|19371 Server]]'s old Card0 church, which then I realised why am I looking up to Card0 like a God?

Though the "Join leadership" scheme has been implimented in the reforms for December 2024, the joint leadership has an asterisk in which allows Card0 to have a bigger say than other admins. In other words allows him to legitimately under this rule have the final and bigger say in anything that gets implimented.

Alongside his ideology that everything has to work, and has to happen has led to the disagreement to staff members. During November 2024 when event rates were low, he continously pinged staff as a request for hosting events and making study sessions. This despirate need just like how if and when a dictator snaps their fingers something happens, can be seen also in #minigames with multiple pings [https://discord.com/channels/567308609411612674/691610016486129746/1304070408470794251].

In short, Card0 really loves his praises.

There is no joint administration, that is an illusion with again the small yet massive asterisk where he has the final say. I can only imagine how quickly he will go back to actually being a dictator (oh wait, the second I was removed as administrator this exact thing happened) and that his leadership role within the community will forever be "supreme" despite this reform. I really want to see the ending of this next December.

This dictatorship I'm done with and no longer wanting to be a part in. I am done being Mao's puppet and secretary.

I hope that Chairman Mao can accept that there are flaws in himself, his governing technique and how he interacts with the community.
