The '''18 District Miku Project''' was an art collaboration event organised by [[Card0]], [[Rena]] and [[TearCea]]. It was a collaboration which aimed to make a Miku OC for each of Hong Kong's 18 districts.

The project lasted from around late September 2024, ending on March 9th 2025: Miku Day.

==History==
Card0 first pitched the project to Rena in September, shortly after announcing the project and gathering some artists, one of them being TearCea. As Card0 began to run into trouble in finding artists for the project, as some districts didn't have representative. Although he originally had the deadline set for late 2024, it became evident that the project couldn't be complete by then, as artists either began to become unresponsive or dropped out.

Eventually, with interest rising again in early 2025, the project saw more interest with more artists either joining or outright replacing. Trouble arose with the Kwai Tsing artist suddenly ghosting the team, before TearCea found one of his friends to contribute to the project, as he had made a Kwai Tsing Miku OC. The last few weeks in late February and early March saw Card0 and TearCea chasing people to send their art in, with the last OCs being sent hours before the deadline. Despite this, the project was still relatively succesful, as it had reached a high amount of likes on Instagram and had helped shout-out several artists.
