===Before Opening===
Due to [[Syntax]] facing issues in real life, he was unable to host a second Minecraft server. Eventually, the prospect of hosting a second SMP was put on hold indefinitely.

Around late March of 2022, [[Sleepy]] would suggest to [[Card0]] the idea of a new SMP hosted on Aternos. Card0 agreed, announcing it on April 5, 2022. During this time, construction on the spawn area went ahead by Card0.
===Opening===
On the night of April 8, 2022, the SMP was officially launched to the public. Originally having a maximum player capacity of 15, the server was given attention beyond the expectations of Card0 and Sleepy, forcing some players to wait for their turn to join the server.

During this period, the spawn was vandalized due to the lack of protection.

Quickly, members began forming groups and factions, the most prominent of which was [[Yuutopia (2nd iteration)|the second iteration of Yuutopia]], founded by [[Wouldntglidingbefaster]]. [[Bossuuu]] and [[Salami]] would also be appointed as president. Card0 would also join albeit as a minimum wage intern.

Other groups, such as wolf tamers and oily ame founded by new members such as [[鈴木愛理]] and [[Mythguy1314]] would also come into fruition during this time.
===Myth Incident===
On April 15, 2022, Mythguy1314 was on a rant about suspected admin abuse from Card0, who failed to try and calm him down. Mythguy also repeatedly made threats and griefed the server. This resulted in Mythguy being indefinitely banned from the server and temporary banned from the 852R Discord Server for 2 weeks. Eventually, Mythguy would be able to return to 852r, making his own SMP of which very little is known about or remembered, he would also be unbanned from the SMP.

Following this, multiple members began exploring the End. A 48 hour grace period was put in place to prevent people from respwaning the Ender Dragon too quickly.

After the dragon fight, the server became inactive, with few people playing on it save for a spleef competition that occurred shortly after the era began. Said competition attracted numbers not seen since the start of the server.
===Free Settlements===
Around the same time as the spleef competition, Purrcat2010 invented free settlements, which are (at least in theory) initially not part of any faction, but can choose to join or even become their own faction. He worked on the first one, [[Warpwood]] for a long time, even writing an in-game guidebook detailing how potential residents could get the most out of it. Card0 recognized the new idea on the same day Warpwood was completed. However, it did not cause people to come onto the server in droves as Purrcat originally projected, as Warpwood still remains unpopulated save for some villagers.
