For a long time, Card0 had distained the oversensationalist nature of not just a few members in [[852 Resurgence]], but even some partnered pages. While he had talked to some about their behavior, he had not made any proper statement.

Around late March-early April, Card0 made a post on his story calling out those who made sensational news, specifically towards Hong Kong and China. He called out many for overreacting in some cases and told people to "think more critically". The response to this from the page's followers was mostly silent with only those who responded being largely supportive of Card0's beliefs.

While Card0 would make similiar statements on occasion, he would then confront various members about their sensationalist behavior after making the initial rant.

He would later make it one of the page's core tenets later in 2022.
