Satirical Maps is a long running series of memes on Hongkongggag. These memes are typically compiled into different "seasons" which are posted in batches.
Description
Satirical Maps take different areas of Hong Kong, even very specific ones, and puts labels on different places in said area. An example would be labelling specific housing estates as "old people" or an upper class housing area as "rich wankers".
Seasons
Season 1
Season 1 began on August 26th 2020, with Card0 making several maps in a short period of time. The series started with Sha Tin and ended with Sha Tau Kok 4 days later on the 30th.
Season 2
Due to popular demand, Season 2 began on November 18th 2020. The season helped boost the page's follower count beyond Card0's initial aims of 5000 followers to 7000 followers.. It ended on December 6th 2020.
Season 3
In an attempt to boost the page, a 3rd season was kickstarted on January 8th 2021, lasting a month until February 8th 2021. The season also boosted the page to 9000 followers.
Season 4
Season 4 happened during the summer of 2021, however it did not do very well.
Season 5
Despite Season 4's failure to meet Card0's expectations, Season 5 went ahead during October and November. flutters would also help with several maps though Card0 still made the bulk of the maps. This season helped boost the page's follower base even more from 13000 to 20000 followers by the end of November.
