Wsdu (Now known also as wnerd) is a member and a former mediator of 852 Resurgence. He was one of 2 Staff members situated in the US.
History
Wsdu joined The Resurgence in late 2020, shortly after the hype period of Satirical Maps. He was soon recognised for his high level of maturity, leading to his promotion as one of the first 2 Mediators in March, alongside Boba.
Wsdu was a great deal of help when the study channels were opened and assisted when they were moved to the Hongkongggag Study Server.
On June 2nd 2022, Wsdu announced his resignation, to take effect from June 4th 2022.
Personality
Wsdu is a very studious and somewhat eccentric. He is also known to make jokes about the DSE, often "praising" it.
Wsdu is considered one of the more moderate "yellow ribbons" in the community, having disdain for the more radical and localist parts of the pro-democracy camp. While being anti-CCP, he holds a soft spot for China and unlike many others, sees himself more as a Chinese person than a Hong Konger.
