Founder

The founder is the highest-ranked member of the community. They are responsible for the management of Hongkongggag and oversee all activities.

Currently, there is only one founder, Card0.

History

The role of Founder was created during the March Reforms. The role acted as a substitution for the "Head Admin" role, which was scrapped in June of 2020.

Admin Controversy

Card0 self-proclaimed himself as Hongkongggag, before making it clear on documents. New edits on the documents now state that "Admins and the Founder are equal in the sense that they are Hongkongggag and as such, can speak on behalf of the page."

Responsibilities

The founder has full access to all platforms. The roles of the Founder are equal to that of Admins, however, not responsibilities. Differences are in bold.

Discord

• Responsible for moderating the server on a regular basis. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Issuing warnings and bans
  • Processing ban appeals
  • Regulating Voicechat via mutes and deafens
• Administrative affairs on Discord, including:
  • Managing the ambassador, affiliate and staff teams
  • Promoting, demoting members to higher ranks of administration
    • This requires founder powers as
      • Admins cannot demote or promote other admins
      • Promoting without discussion or approval
        • flutters promoted tolmo without discussion and they are now serving a months long probation.
  • Introducing reforms and features to the Discord server
  • Amendment of controversial features based on feedback.
    • Any new bots need to be approved by Card0, like the DadBot was once introduced.

Signal, Whatsapp

The Founder hold the same responsibilities in moderation as the Discord server.

Instagram

The Founder manages the Instagram page on a regular basis. This includes:

• Creating and posting content
  • This requires approval
• Responding to feedback on posts
• Engaging with followers that message

Other

The Founder is responsible for:

• Paying community finances if need be
• Having the final say on ALL decisions pertaining to the community.
  • If a decision receives disapproval from a majority ^{[clarity required]} of the community, a vote will be held to decide if the final say in question will be overturned or not.
