Core Community was a group chat associated with Hongkongggag on Signal.

Only those of Senator rank or above may join the group chat.

History

The group chat was meant to be a de-facto "parliament" for the page and community, with various members associated with the page also being in the group chat. It was first created on WhatsApp in early February 2021 but would later be transferred to Signal after concerns with privacy were bought up.

With the gradual shift to Discord, the chat slowly became inactive.

Legacy

Some members have referred to those of Senator rank or above as the "core community" though this is informal.
