Horizon School

Horizon School is a research project by flutters. flutters was always curious on the abnormalities in her timetable, thus she wanted to create her own timetable system to see why these choices were made. Alongside knowing the work that gets put into making a secondary school timetable.

As Tsz Kong set place in 2022, the school became one of the International Schools in Tsz Kong's Blakewood district under the Tsz Kong International Schools Foundation created by flutters for her timetable project. The district was chosen from the phone number's district code '19' to make the phone number +69 (19) 3714 2069.

Previously, the location was in the Southern District in Hong Kong, in Ap Lei Chau Praya Road where present day Larvatto would be, thus assuming the address of 8 Ap Lei Chau Praya Road, Ap Lei Chau.

History (Lore)

The school campus was formally Tsz Kong International School before they moved to their new campus in 2019, then, the campus was still under the Tsz Kong International Schools Foundation and was soon repurposed to Horizon School as soon as staff numbers were sufficient and started from scratch to open for the 2020-2021 academic year.

The original buildings were Block A (Formerly named L block for Labs), Block B (Formerly named M for Middle block), Building C (Formerly E for End block), Block D (Formerly G Block for Gym block) and Block S (Formerly named S for Swimming Pool). Legacies of these naming systems were last seen in the two Lab rooms in Block A (L1/L2).

As Horizon School expanded with rooms not being enough and constantly clashing. The result was rebuilding block by block and upgrading their timetabling system. Thus the school slowly rebuilt itself into a whole new campus.
