Andi, or "Sheffield Andi" is a Discord Admin in 852 Resurgence.
History
Andi joined the community in October 2020 with infrequent activity.
Between October and November of 2021, Andi's activity in the community increased as the page went through the Second Era of Hype.
His overall maturity led Card0 to nominate him as Moderator under a new system. This has led to some jokes that Card0 simped for Andi.
flutters urged Card0 to promote him to administrator due to his wisdom, organisation skills and amount of potential. Although Card0 was initially reluctant, he promoted Andi to Senior Mod on January 24th 2022 after a democratic vote.
While Andi is active from time to time, most of the work he does is behind the scenes within Staff.
Personality
Andi is one of the most mature people in the server, often being level-headed in several community issues and arguments. He is also interested in transportation, often keeping up to date with HK Transport news. He has created a document detailing changes to HK Bus routes.
Trivia
- Despite being older than Card0, he still calls him an old man and senile.
- Andi is a competitive person, especially when playing geoguessr.
- He is also known to be very good at the game, often causing Card0 to swear at him in rage when playing with him.
- It's often joked that Andi hates Card0 though this isn't true (I think).
