It is the second oldest cult on the server.

History

It is unknown when exactly the Moyai Cult was founded, however it is believed to have founded at around mid to late 2021. They would spread their message to several new members, often recruiting brand new members.

For a long time, the Moyai Cult was the only cult with "positive relations" with Card0, even creating their own partnered server. However after an incident involving Toto523 who was banned, relations would sour and Simpus Olympus would leave the server.

Origins

Although the cult’s exact date of founding has since been lost to time, recounts of the events that took place that led to its eventual creation remained.

On the fateful day of its creation, there was a fairly large gathering of people in a voice chat, participants there had just been chatting or texting normally. Then pilk, a somewhat recent member of the sever decided as a joke to change their server nickname to the max amount of letters that could be fit.(32 characters, i.e 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿) Although the name had remained for a short period, the owner Card0 reset the name and later explained that it was difficult to ping, multiple attempts to restore the nickname proved to be fruitless. Until a solution was thought of, putting a 🗿moyai emoji at the beginning and end of the name(🗿name🗿), this allowed the member to be pinged easily and retained moyai emoji(s) and this format was approved by Card0 and later adopted as the method to join and identify oneself with their respective cult(s).

Although the above events were the date of the official creation of the cult, the entity existed long before that, as many members especially Simpus Olympus prominently used the emoji and had changed his profile picture to one.
