Salami is a member of 852 Resurgence. She is an Admin as well as the Affiliate for Ma Wan.
History
Salami first joined The Resurgence WhatsApp group chat on the 7th of February, later joining 852 Resurgence on the 15th of February. She also took part in the Hongkongggag art competition with a drawing of Card0 as a cat.
Salami was a candidate in the March 2021 Moderator Elections, coming in 3rd place with 46 votes total, 29 short of second-place candidate, zo.loft.
In April of 2021. Salami became a temporary mediator when Boba became busy with exams, In May, she was formally promoted to Mediator after a staff meeting.
Later on in July 2021, they nominated Bossuuu for moderator.
Salami would become less active over 2022 and 2023, but would become more active from late 2023 onwards, later becoming Admin in mid 2025.
Personality
Server Beliefs
Salami represents the moderate left of the staff team, representing mainstream Hong Kong progressive beliefs (such as wealth redistribution, opposition to both the government and localist right and LGBT politics without opposition to capitalism) while also representing a more mediating voice in staff discussions, having voiced mild opposition to some of Card0's policies, though she largely supports most motions the rest of Staff would agree on. She is also an advocate for more assertive action when it comes to the community, while also opposing a larger staff team, believing that it may create concerns about bloat.
