A cult is a communal group, usually consist of multiple members that uphold a central premise. Cultists spread the central premise of their affiliation to other members of the community. For a cult to be established, it must be officially recognised by the Hongkongggag Administration.

A religion is a group of people that share a common idealistic belief, based on similar media sources as cults. Unlike cults, however, members of a religion do not have dedicated username changes towards their beliefs, and their allegiance is demonstrated through activities only.
There is currently no official definition as to what a religion constitutes that is recognised by the Hongkongggag Administration, primarily due to the scarcity of religions present in 852 Resurgence.
