Bossuuu is a Discord Admin on 852 Resurgence. She is also the de-facto main community artist.

History

Bossuuu joined on 18 February, 2021, coming from the wateromelette Discord server, then a partnered server of 852 Resurgence.

Due to Card0's disdain for YUU, she created YUU-Chan as part of the first Hongkongggag art competition, which she won. Some time later, she would create Hongkongggag-Chan.

In summer of 2021, Bossuuu's activity on 852 Resurgence increased, becoming a notable member to the community. In July 2021, she was nominated by Salami and promoted to moderator . According to Card0, all of the admins voted in favour of Bossuuu's promotion.

During the 2021 Hongkongggag Community Awards, she would win the award for the member with the most impact.

On March 28th 2022, she was promoted to Discord Admin after an overwhelming majority voted in favour of her promotion.

Personality

Bossuuu is often friendly and talkative when in community settings. She shows a general aptitude for knowing how to interact with other people, appearing to others as approachable and kind, while making other people feel at ease. This is perhaps reflective of her innate kindness and goodwill, as she has stated that believes herself to be soft-hearted at her core, implying that she greatly values people and interaction.

Despite her outgoing, extroverted appearance, Bossuuu claims to be an introverted person in real life, stating that they are only as open as they are due to the sense of anonymity given by the Internet. To some extent, Bossuuu seems to be insecure about their own abilities, often laughing off failure as a result of her lack of skill whimsically. When prompted to contribute someway in talk sessions, Bossuuu claims that they are not able to think critically about a certain situation, when her own doubt might retroactively be the detriment to displaying the true extent of her abilities,

Bossuuu enjoys making jokes and snarky comments, usually acting mischievous and posing as a catalyst for light-hearted, comfortable conversations, although the punchline of these jokes might include self-doubt which she appears to shrug off without a problem. Simultaneously, Bossuuu is generally unwilling to engage in active conflict and is very withdrawn when in a hostile environment, being hesitant to express potentially controversial or aggravating opinions in front of people she does not trust. It might be concluded, therefore, that Bossuuu is someone who believes that harmony among different people is to be treasured over conjecture, not preferring argument over peace among other members.
